Fixing IPTV buffering, step by step
Buffering has many causes, and most sit in the network or the device rather than the subscription. These steps, in order, solve most cases — and help us find the cause quickly if it continues.
The usual causes
Not enough speed on the device
The speed on your phone next to the router is not the TV’s speed in the other room.
Weak Wi‑Fi
Walls, distance and a crowded 2.4GHz band are among the most common causes.
Peak-time load
During big matches networks are busier; one step lower quality gives more stability.
A weak or full device
Old devices or devices full of apps process the stream slowly.
The fix, step by step
- 1
Test the speed on the device itself
Open a speed-test site or app on the TV or device. Roughly 15 Mbps for high definition and 25–30 Mbps for 4K.
- 2
Restart the router and the device
Unplug both for 30 seconds, then start the router first and let it settle.
- 3
Improve the connection
An Ethernet cable if possible, or 5GHz Wi‑Fi with the device closer to the router, and pause downloads on the network.
- 4
Drop the quality one step
From 4K to FHD or from FHD to HD during peak time, then raise it later.
- 5
Clean up the app
Clear the app’s cache from the device settings and close other apps.
- 6
Try another channel
If only one channel stutters, its source is probably having a temporary issue — try another version of it if there is one.
Message us on WhatsApp with: the server, the app, the device, the channel and the time, and a screenshot of a speed test on the device itself.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription with no buffering at all?
Nobody can honestly guarantee that, because stability also depends on your connection and device. What we offer is strong servers and support that helps you tune the setup for the best result.
My speed is high — why the buffering?
The advertised speed is not always the real speed on the device, and its stability matters more than the number. Test on the device itself while watching.
